Especially when one considers how much you’d have to pay adobe for a similar said: There is no way they don’t deserve what they are asking. These are completely new apps from a company with a brilliant track record for providing great tools. However, developers aren’t immune to reality and deserve to be compensated for their work. Especially these days with so much worldwide economic turmoil and uncertainty. I don’t think any of us really love reaching into our wallet. $12 for iPad only or $99 for everything including Mac versions is definitely a valuable offering imo. However, if like me, you find the old versions magical and highly valuable…you’re definitely gonna come up with that scratch.
In fact, if you think the ‘old’ version is buggy and don’t feel it’s measured up to the value you paid for it, why would you shell out another 99? I certainly wouldn’t. On the contrary, you don’t “got to” do anything at all. The first versions of these apps are still every bit as amazing as they were yesterday so I don’t understand how any user, new or old, can feel any way about a completely new and fully reoptimized paid version.īecause they haven’t fixed existing bugs in the ‘old’ versions? Because I’ve now got to find ninety quid to keep my ‘subscription free’ software updated?
The only surprise is the hefty intro discount. This is what i predicted and mentioned would happen.
